General Information

What are your portion sizes?

We are known for our hearty portion sizes. Each meal contains 6 oz of cooked protein, 3 oz of starch, and 3 oz of vegetables. We do have smaller portioned meals–these are marked as (“Bowls” – 8oz) and contain 4 oz of cooked protein, 2 oz starch, and 2 oz vegetables.

Is the food organic?

We try to source as organically and as locally as possible. There are instances where our organic suppliers are unable to fulfill our orders. In these cases, rather than risk delivering an inconsistent product, we will opt for an alternate and possibly not organic supplier who can deliver the entire order. That being said, we are proud to serve only grass-fed beef, free-range and hormone-free poultry, cage-free eggs, wild-caught seafood, and non-GMO produce.

What if I don’t like a meal?

Fit Food Fresh is fueled by member feedback. We are always looking to improve so if you have a question, comment, critique, or compliment–please let us know at or 561-430-5208. If your meals are damaged or incorrect in any way, we will credit your account with haste.

What are the heating instructions?

Each meal will contain heating instructions on the label. Before heating, we recommend venting the lid and removing any cold items, garnishes, or sauces. All microwaves vary but we find the best results between 2:00-2:30 minutes. Our meals are also great in the oven or air-fryer too.

Will Fit Food Fresh help me lose weight?

While we are more of a convenience-based meal service than a dietary meal service, we structure our menu with a health-conscious mindset. We avoid the overuse of butter, heavy cream, mayonnaise, and other unsaturated fats and focus on providing perfectly portioned and well-balanced meals. Our menu is extensive and provides plenty of options from clean and healthy to indulgently decadent and everything in between. Many see results simply due to the portion control our meals provide, but if you’d like assistance dialing in your meal plan, we’d be happy to connect you with our staff nutritionist.

For every new member you send our way, you will receive $50 in meal credits on your account. This offer has no limit! Spread the word to your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Our goal is for you to eat for free!

We ask all new members how they heard about Fit Food Fresh, so make sure they mention your name.


How do I change my card on file?

You are able to add/delete/update payment info by logging in, clicking ‘My Account’, Billing Info, then selecting Add New Credit Card. Multiple cards can be saved to your file, select the one you want to be billed.

When will I be charged?

Your first charge will incur when you place your first order. Moving forward, you will be charged on Sundays. We are a hybrid subscription service and our system will generate a ‘suggested order’ for the following week every Sunday. This order can be edited in any way you like as long as all changes are submitted by Friday at 3 PM. If you select fewer meals than were initially suggested, you will be automatically credited the difference. If you select more meals, you’ll be charged the difference.

Can I skip a week?

You are never obligated to receive meals every week. To skip a week, log in and click ‘My Account’. Under Account Status, select SKIP NEXT WEEK. This will cancel next week’s order and credit your account. The credit will be automatically applied to your next order. Or simply reach out and we will take care of everything for you.

What is the delivery fee?

We offer two deliveries per week at $15 or a single delivery for $8 locally. If you’re anywhere else in Florida we charge $10 for a single delivery. This ensures your fresh meals arrive safe and cool.

How to remove payment methods from your account?

To remove a payment method from your account, select ‘Manage Payment Info’ from your account page and delete the payment method you want to remove. If you only have one payment method on file, you will be unable to remove it until after you add a new payment method. When a payment method is removed from your account, Fit Food Fresh will no longer be able to charge that payment method unless it is re-added to your account. Customer Service is unable to remove a specific payment method from your account. However, we’re able to help in any way we can.


Where does Fit Food Fresh deliver?

We deliver to all of Southeast Florida for $15, covering all of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties as well as Martin County.

We do deliver to Orlando, Tampa, Naples, Fort Myers, and nearby areas for $10.

When are deliveries made?

We deliver Sunday and Wednesday afternoons between 1-6 pm. We offer Mondays and Thursdays from 8 am-1 pm for businesses and special exceptions. Your meals will stay cold and fresh in insulated cooler bags with ice packs.

***We can accommodate alternate delivery times which can be coordinated during your welcome call.

What if my community is gated?

If the gate is manned 24 hours, we recommend adding Fit Food Fresh to your list of approved deliveries so we can deliver your meals seamlessly. If the gate is unmanned, we are equipped to securely store a key FOB for your deliveries. Any access codes can be listed in Delivery Notes. When in doubt, give us a call–we will do whatever is possible to provide a suitable delivery solution at your convenience.

Is there a bag fee?

While we do not charge a bag deposit upon sign-up, we do rely on reusing the cooler bags. Simply leave the empty bags outside ahead of your next delivery and our driver will make a swap. If you are canceling service or taking a break, let us know and we’ll arrange a pick-up. There is a bag fee that we intend to never charge–we will give you a second, third, fourth, fifth chance, etc to return the bags. The fee is $20 per bag and is only charged when all other options are exhausted. We do not reuse ice packs to ensure fresh packs are always used for sanitary purposes, so feel free to keep them.

Food Safety


Even before the pandemic, our kitchen gets a full top-to-bottom deep cleaning after every single production day. Our flawless inspection record with the Division of Hotels and Restaurants can be viewed on the state website. Our ServSafe-certified kitchen staff has observed CDC-recommended mask and glove protocols since early March of 2020. Workstations have been altered to promote safe distance between staff members.

Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
